The story of Abimelech in Judges 9 serves as a poignant reminder that unrighteous ambition, deception, and violence might provide temporary gain, but ultimately they lead to downfall. It reminds us to seek leadership in humility, righteousness, and love for justice. For in the grand scheme, divine justice will prevail, holding everyone accountable for their actions.Rise & Shine is a daily reflection on scripture.
