Paul's letter to Titus offers encouragement and wisdom to its readers. The first chapter begins with Paul instructing Titus to appoint elders. To help Titus with this momentous task, Paul lists the qualifications these men would need to attain the role of overseer of the congregation. Juxtapose these qualifications; Paul explains that these men are needed to fight against false teachings and those who promote such things. Paul warns Titius of the dangers of false teachers, even quoting a poet from Crete. Jason discusses the risks of seeing life through a negative lens. Ryan highlights the importance of motivation when confronting someone.
