In the second chapter of Second Thessalonians, Paul encourages readers to continue in the Gospel and not be deceived. As Paul has readers think of Jesus' second coming, he encourages them not to be shaken. He warns that people may try to deceive them, but those who deceive are destined for destruction. Paul uses the idea of a lawless one to build up the church while warning about falling into temptation. Paul then shifts to praising God for salvation and encourages readers to stand firm to the Good News!
