In this episode I interviewed Stephanie Non, a friend I made in Boracay when I attended an event there for digital nomads.
This episode was supposed to be about her experience as a person living a nomadic lifestyle, how she got into it, and what challenges come with this lifestyle. However, our conversation went to so many other areas, such as healing, grief, navigating uncertainty, defining one's values, faith, and finding inner peace.
This was a fun conversation, so I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed speaking. ^_^
If you enjoyed this episode, I would appreciate it if you give us a 5-star rating and share the podcast with your friends. <3

The quality of our life is influenced by the quality of our decisions and choices. And the quality of our decisions are influenced by the quality of how we think about things. It is therefore important that we pay attention to how we think and make our decisions. One of the things I think is useful is to be aware that we, humans, are prone to cognitive biases.
Cognitive bias refers to a systematic pattern of deviation from rationality in the way we process information or make judgments and decisions. It's a type of mental shortcut or heuristic that our brains use to make sense of complex information and make decisions quickly. However, these biases can also lead us to make errors or misjudgments, especially when we're not aware of them or don't take steps to overcome them. There are many different types of cognitive biases, and they can affect our perceptions, memories, beliefs, and behaviors in a variety of ways.
In this episode, I will share three of the most common cognitive biases: confirmation bias, sunk cost fallacy, and availability bias. I will also share ways to prevent ourselves from falling into these biases.

In this episode of the Ripples of Courage Podcast, we explore the delicate balance between ambition and contentment. While ambition drives us to reach for our goals and strive for success, it can also leave us feeling unfulfilled and discontented if we don't take the time to appreciate what we have. On the other hand, contentment can bring a sense of peace and gratitude, but it can also hold us back from pursuing our dreams.
As I explored this concept, I discovered that these two seemingly opposing forces can actually complement each other, with ambition giving us direction and contentment providing the everyday practice of appreciating life and our progress towards our goals.
Join me as I share practical strategies for finding harmony between ambition and contentment, so we can live a more fulfilling and purposeful life.

In this episode, Beng talks a bit about his journey from being diagnosed with CKD to dealing with the challenges that come with the illness. But more importantly, he shares what keeps him going and how he finds happiness and meaning in his life.
