Happy Monday, listening fam!  As today is Monday, we, customarily, hear from friend of the show, Fox News' Brian Kilmeade!  John and Brian talk about the latest news from the 2024 campaign trail -- and about what Brian has coming up on The Brian Kilmeade Show, airing right after Richmond's Morning News here on WRVA!

Finally this AM (and week), we check in with our "Movie Guy," Mike Mayo, of Mike-Mayo.com -- who tells us about both Godzilla Minus One and Under Paris.  (Spoiler alert: Mike liked 'em both!!!)

Next, in the 8:30 half hour, we hear from Congressman and Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good -- who is facing a primary challenge from State Senator John McGuire.  John and Congressman Good discuss the campaign, the issues, his opponent, and why voters should opt to support his candidacy for a third term in Washington.

"It's Friday . . . " (although due to newly dictated copyright policy, you won't hear the customary bumper music -- Rebecca Black's seminal classic "Friday" -- unless you're listening live).  Because today is Friday, we hear from Dave Saunders of Madison+Main PR firm.  He tells us what folks can do for fun in and around town on what is supposed to be a scorching end-of-spring weekend.

All this week, we have been checking in one last time with all of the Republican candidates vying for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate.  Last up is Hung Cao, who discusses his campaign and the issues with John. (You can learn more about Hung here.)

Happy Friday, fam!  Amid news that Governor Glenn Youngkin is now on President Trump's VP Short List, first among our guests this AM is Richmond-area Congressman Rob Wittman. John and Congressman Wittman discuss the breaking news about Governor Youngkin, as well as the Congressman's recent trip to Normandy in remembrance of D-Day's 80th Anniversary, plus the National Defense Authorization Act (which has been under consideration in Congress this week).

Last but most definitely not least this morning, we hear, on the eve of President Trump's birthday, his daughter-in-law -- and now Republican National Committee Co-Chair -- Lara Trump!  John and Lara talk about the campaign, her forecast for this fall's election, the criteria for President Trump's selection of a running mate, and the aftermath of the President's trial in New York a couple of weeks ago.

Well, as today is Thursday, we hear -- as we normally do -- from former Virginia Governor and Ambassador to Europe Jim Gilmore.  Also as normal, John and Governor Gilmore talk international relations and about the war in Ukraine.  Notably: As many of you in the listening fam have requested, John even pointedly asks Governor Gilmore whether his pro-Ukrainian stance is financially motivated.  (He unequivocally says that it is not.)
