ANTHONY "CITRIC" CAMPOS: From East L.A. Rap to King of the Hill - The Full Story This week on Reza Rifts, host Keith Reza sits down with one of the most versatile and underrated talents in Hollywood Anthony "Citric" Campos. Actor. Stand-up comedian. East L.A. hip-hop legend. And the voice behind Emilio on the King of the Hill revival. Citric's story is one of the most real, raw, and inspiring journeys in entertainment. Before the TV credits and film roles, he was just a kid from East Los Angeles hitting open mics, rapping at house parties, and hustling his way into a world that wasn't built for him. In this conversation, he holds nothing back. We talk about how the nickname "Citric" was born, what it was like working alongside Christian Bale on Harsh Times, getting cast in the cult classic Idiocracy, the experience of voicing a character on one of America's most beloved animated shows, the very real challenges of Latino representation in Hollywood, and so much more. If you've ever felt like you were grinding in the dark with no one watching this episode is for you. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 Intro & Welcome 1:20 Meet Anthony Citric Campos & The Home Studio 2:20 The Origin of the Nickname "Citric" 3:10 East L.A.
