By the end of chapter 6 in the gospel according to St. John, multitudes left following Jesus and only his 12 disciples were left. When Jesus asked if they would leave also, Peter responded: “Lord, to whom, shall we go”? Many people have left following Jesus because it was to hard, but with no other alternative to everlasting life, I encourage us all to follow the only One who has the very words we need for this life, and for the next.
