"It was a total ass-kicker. I dealt with depression. I dealt with suicide. Tremendous suicide. I didn't know what I was at the time. When you practice spirituality 1s and you think you've experienced the dark night of the soul or you think you've experienced right. But you really don't know what that means. You think you do, right? Somebody spoke badly, or you think you go through it, right? Yeah, I got my feelings hurt, so I'm going through a dark night of soul. No, get your shit together, because that's going to be painful. Man. So I began to do journaling. What carried me through it was journaling and shadow work. Doing shadow work, recognizing the shadow, and recognizing my shadow person, opened up a lot of traumatic memories from our childhood. Growing up in a fundamental home, I always like to say that you and I were raised by the organization, and our parents were the enforcers. Yeah, I don't disagree with that. The organization where our parents and our parents, our biological parents, were our babysitters. Because there was always the fear of the organization, you better behave, or organization."
