Americans think they’ll need more money to retire.  A new survey (by Northwestern Mutual) shows the new ideal amount is $1.25 million. That’s an increase of 20% over last year.  The same poll also found more than a third have not addressed the possibility of outliving their savings.  Isn’t that a bigger issue than finding the ideal “number?”
