When Jesus walks on water and calls Peter to come, Peter's sinking isn't a failure—it's faith in action. In a world filled with violence, division, and overwhelming chaos, we're invited not to conquer our fears but to step out into the storm anyway, knowing we'll need to reach for Jesus when we start to sink. Drawing on her experience as a Palestinian American priest, Mother Leyla explores how faith isn't something we achieve once and for all, but an ongoing process of risk, reaching out, and trusting the great I AM in the midst of whatever threatens us.
