Using Jesus' parable of the wheat and weeds, Father Shawn challenges our compulsion to fix ourselves and others. Drawing from memories of his grandfather's farm, he explores why God tells us to stop sorting, stop controlling, and instead entrust ourselves to the divine Gardener who alone knows how to tend our souls without causing damage. This sermon offers liberating wisdom for perfectionists, controllers, and anyone exhausted from trying to pull themselves together.
