Welcome to Resilient Minds 365 where we discuss the resilient stories of entrepreneurs, professionals and students with mental illnesses to encourage you to strive, thrive, and live in abundance. I’m your host Cleoni Crawford.

Wayne is a Co-Founder & Partner of Kuinua Consulting Group, as well as a Clinical Social Worker for an Assertive Community Treatment Team with one of the largest community mental health agencies in the country.

His undergraduate education and training began in the United States before bringing him back to Canada where he completed his Masters Degree in

Social Work at Ryerson University.

His career is influenced by an anti-oppressive framework and has therefore equipped him with a solid foundation when addressing issues of anti-black racism, factors contributing to the marginalization of racialized individuals in the mental health sector, and the role of advocacy, mobilization, and allyship in underrepresented racialized groups facing various forms of systemic oppression.
