Clarisse Iribagiza, Nanjira Sambuli, Martha Chumo
Room: stage 6
When Martha was 19 she received an MIT scholarship, but was denied the visa to enter the US. Instead, she opened the Nairobi DevSchool. Clarisse runs the most successful mobile technology start-up in Ruanda. The two of them stand out, as there is still a stark underrepresentation of women of women in technology in Africa and around the world. During this fireside chat Clarisse and Martha are going to speak about the difficult balancing act of being a role model, business woman and building up a company, as well as speaking at conferences.
