Throughout her career as a healthcare professional, Wacera has always appreciated the healing process. It is in the vein of healing that she wishes to provide well-being to the masses via Kastone Beauty: A line of natural skin care products. 

While working as a respiratory therapist in constant need of hand moisturizing, she experimented with a variety of skin care products in an attempt to keep her skin healthy while on the job. It was during this experimentation that Kastone Beauty was conceptualized. 

Wacera shares with us her journey in creating her products, as well as what inspired her to take the leap into entrepreneurship. 

The name 'Kastone' comes from a partial, direct translation of Wacera's last name, signifying a special bond to her heritage. Having recently moved back to Kenya, she wishes to explore her business potential at home, while negotiating her repatriation.
