Chad Ragsdale of Ozark Christian College shows how apologetics often serves Christians—especially young believers—by helping them identify what they truly believe. Through quick exercises and a target illustration, he sorts beliefs into three buckets: essential (bullseye), important, and personal convictions.
He emphasizes essential beliefs—God’s existence, Jesus as the risen Lord, salvation by grace, and perseverance—and explains how clarifying these priorities improves discipleship and prevents personal convictions from becoming divisive. Romans
