With so many companies struggling with the ongoing shift toward remote careers, the question they often face is "how do we effectively balance productivity and accountability?" Well, we couldn't possibly answer that as eloquently as Paul did, but his advice was spot on: Avoid policies, and instead build guidelines. Embrace the reality that everyone brings different skills and work histories to the table, and rigid structure will debilitate the remote employee experience.
