From 1975-1979 an estimated 2,000,000 people died at the hands of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. My guest in this episode, Sara Im, was very nearly one of those statistics.

She tells her story of being captured, nearly worked to death, and her harrowing escape in the jungle. Her story is crazy! Survival against all odds, resilience and determination, new beginnings, and her healing and helping others.

She's an amazing lady and I'm very grateful for her telling her story. Please share it with someone!
