Today's reading is from Romans Additional Scripture:  Job Want to know how to influence someone for years to come?  Encourage them, today!There have been times when I've been down, and I recall an encouraging word from someone .. . . from years ago.  It's amazing what sticks with you over the years.  Some encouragement is recent and some words from my childhood and teenage years are still with me.  I thank God for bringing those encouraging words to mind.  More than that, I thank Him for the people who spoke them.Take a moment to remember a kind, encouraging word someone spoke to you.  Can't recall anything?  Ok.  Then think of a time when you encouraged someone else.  That makes you an encourager!  You've no idea the number of lives you've touched and influenced with your words.
