In this episode, Reinventing Adulthood host Jay Rush shares an emotional yet incredibly powerful story about his son who was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

This entire episode is focused on how our thoughts (that we choose) either help us or harm us in some way.

We are not machines.

We aren't robots.

It's not an algorithm.

But it has been proven time and time again that if we follow a thought, and we behave on the basis of that thought or that belief, then we create certain outcomes for ourselves. Example: if it's a bad thought, or self-deprecating, or angry, we're going to act on the basis of what we believe through that thinking pattern.

If it is conversely, a productive thought, or something that gives us some hope, or some light or some encouragement or some motivation, then again, we're going to act based on the strength of those beliefs.

In this episode we talk about;

- Thoughts before, during, and after Odin's diagnosis
- Resilience
- Hindsight
- Navigating through dark moments
- Intense feelings

Plus so much more.

This is an episode that must be listened to if you're currently navigating through a crisis or tough times in your life.
