Reflecting on the last year is hard. I wasn’t skipping through sun-lite, green fields with a daisy-chain in my hair. I was fighting my dark side, lightsaber in hand, mostly losing the battle. I cried more than I laughed. I felt defeated more than I felt victorious. But no matter how grim my circumstances felt, I always believed God was there.
