Dune 2 episode was criminal
1 hos found the movie to slow to provide a meaningful review. Seems like an attention issue as most viewers found Dune extremely captivating. The other host spoiled a huge plot point to Dune 3 in the first 5min of the episode. Why did he do that? How many listeners did he think read the Dune books???

Great podcast
Hey guys, Love the podcast. Been listening to it for years. Just listened to the Oppenheimer review, real quick as you may not know, when Oppenheimer shows Einstein the equations that show the possibility of a nuclear explosion destroying the planet, and Einstein gives the equations back saying something like “I was never the best at math”, it is not meant to be a humble brag. Einstein was a genius for putting the pieces together in new creative ways for his theory of relativity but he had substantial help from his friends and colleagues who where more gifted mathematicians with the supporting equations for his papers and theories that made him famous. And in an early paper/publication from Einstein that was a precursor to the publications that made Einstein famous there was actually a mathematical error in the paper. So when Einstein says something like “I wasn’t the best at math” I think it is meant more to be a joke for science nerds who would know that Einstein had substantial help from his colleagues with the mathematics for his theories. There was some dialogue in the beginning of the movie that alluded to the fact that the best theoretical physicists, i.e. Oppenheimer and Einstein, are not necessarily the best mathematicians which is its own speciality, but it was hard to pick up on unless you already knew that.

Love the pod!
What’s up guys, I was intro’d to this pod by Kevin B via a being a guest on another pod and I’ve been listening ever since. It makes my work day seem short, but maybe my day really is short, but anyway, IMF was revealed as impossible missions force at the end of MI3 after he saved Jules. Thought I’d shared that! Keep it up guys! Marvin B!

Reel fun
Liked it. Just a note on your spoilers at the intro - Bruce Willis is dead the whole time, not just the end.

Get to the movie already!
I love you guys and have been listening for years now. However, this latest episode for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 took 51 minutes to actually start talking about the movie. I get it that you like to banter and talk off topic. But at least sprinkle that in with a back and forth. It would have been a more enjoyable listen if you started up talking about part of the movie and then went of on tangents.

Love you guys!!
Great show! feels like I’m hanging out with friends who actually like the same movies I do (sometimes) which is great!!! Always makes my day and I appreciate all the hard work.

Thank You
i came across this podcast when i was only 15 years old and had a mild interest in film. i’m 22 now, and just graduated college with a degree in screenwriting (horn tooted.) i weirdly owe a lot of that to these guys. i grew up listening to this podcast every week and i just wanted to say thank you. this podcast made me discover my passion.

Consistently entertaining & hilarious!
It is very rare that I can quote a whole podcast intro word for word every episode, but here we are! Reel Spoilers keeps me entertained 30hrs/week at my cleaning job & I’ve still got a bunch of episodes to go! As a horror fan, I will just relisten to their horror movie episodes, because I love hearing their funny commentary on some of my favorite movies/franchises. Speaking of… Halloween Ends SUCKED! (Sorry Joe) Anywho, you guys rock & keep them coming!

5 stars are not enough!!! LOVE Reel Spoilers, y’all are doing some incredible work. I’ve recently graduated from college with a Film Studies degree and have listened to many, many film review-themed podcasts throughout my time at school - and will always come back to this one. I will even go as so far to say I solely listen to y’all when it comes to movies and television. Bucket list item for me is to ONE DAY be able to be on a podcast with y’all, but only time will tell I guess. Keep up the good work Long time listener, Josh

Always worth the listen
I’ve been a listener for about a year now and realized I haven’t left a review. First off, I would highly recommend this podcast. The dynamics between the hosts are really entertaining and fun to listen to. They do a great job of going through the movies and tend to have a variety of entertaining stories. There can be some unrelated tangents but I tend to like these and I think it just goes to show how close knit the hosts are. Every so often I watch a somewhat recent movie and get excited that I can now go back and listen to the review. However there are definitely movies that I don’t bother watching because I know they will be bad and I will get more enjoyment from the podcast itself! If you love movies you should absolutely check this podcast out!

White Men Podcast
As much as I dislike white men telling me about things. I must say that out of all the white men podcasts this one is one of my favorites. I’ve only been listening to them for a few months and have been working through all the old one and It’s definitely gotten better over the years. 5/5 !

Awesome Podcast!
Great podcast tho they sometimes Segway into other films for 10-20 minutes. Kinda annoying. Other then that I LOVE it. 🥰

Fantabulous
This show is great. The three hosts are very entertaining but do have some quirks. Joe compares everything to a DC comic or movie and can get on nerves. Also Kevin who is gay is great yet he believes he knows all sometimes and comes off like a prince. Tom is by far the best and funniest. He brings the whole thing together. So despite the sometimes annoyances the show is tremendous.

Great Podcast
Joe’s mom bought a small piece of furniture from my wife and mentioned that her son was on a movie podcast. She said her son loved Star Wars and Marvel movies which I also love. I was reluctant to listen at first but was hooked very quick. Very entertaining show and great incite into all of the movies! Thanks guys! Would love to hang out with you guys!

Nobody does it better, nobody!
This podcast will be all you ever need. I have taken a journey with these guys over the past 6 months or so and listened to all of their podcasts from the first. I am know on #671. Tom, Joe, and Kevin are just incredible. I feel like I’m sitting with friends listening to them. Their rants are awesome, the stories are great, and the insight they bring to a movie is fascinating. Set aside an hour and listen to any of their pods, you’ll get hooked. My only regret is that I am almost caught up will only be able to listen to them once a week……Until I sign up for their Patreon! What are you waiting for? Don’t make the same mistake I did, I didn’t find them until they were 7years in and now, I hope they have a long time together ahead.

Come for latest movie reviews, stay for the tangents and never ending pop-culture references
I have been an avid listener for a few years now and can’t recommend this podcast enough. Top notch audio production and a great rapport shared by the three hosts makes for an entertaining hour long show (bonus episode if it is a marvel movie being reviewed). Listening to the always witty banter, as well as the deep love these guys have for cinema, has led to a deep dive of past episodes that is always entertaining. Keep up the great work, and might I suggest another misbegotten sequels subject in case Hollywood has to shutdown for another worldwide pandemic/apocalypse? Would love to hear how they really feel about Roman Polanski and his masterpiece ‘Chinatown’ head to head with the ‘Two Jakes’. Also, I waited to listen to their recent episode on Del Toro’s ‘Nightmare Alley’ until I was finally able to see it, and had hoped they might offer up a possible connection between Cate Blanchett’s character masterminding the grift with Stan and Ezra Grindle as payback for the scars on her body. I couldn’t help but leave a spoiler in my review. Thank you again for the hours of entertainment, keep up the great work.

3rd time’s a charm?…5 ⭐️
I’ve tried twice before to leave a review. I guess my course language (it wasn’t even R rated) excluded its posting. I love this podcast. I was listening to another podcast in which Kevin was guest hosting on and just had to check y’all out. I’m so glad I did. You’ve quickly become my favorite. I may not always agree with your reviews but it’s always fun and informative, respectful. Especially when the disagreements are amongst the hosts. I can tell you guys are friends and it’s refreshing to have some comical banter. After all, they’re only movies. And in these times, we need as many entertaining distractions as possible. Keep up the great work!

Fun, casual and informative
The best movie podcast I’ve heard. Some podcasts are very informative, but dry. Others are funny, but superficial and have no idea what they are talking about. These guys know their stuff. There are references to original sources, patterns in the style of certain artists, call backs to other movies… I love it! It has depth for movie fans but it is also like listening to three casual friends chat. I love to listen to see who I will agree with or disagree with. Great fun. The first podcast I actually subscribed to. Long time listener, finally reviewing.

Absolute Banger
This show is supremely underrated. Like actually. I’ve been listening for maybe 3 years, and somehow have only just gotten around to reviewing, hopefully in time for the Black Widow review, even though it was a meh movie. These guys are so fun, and I thoroughly enjoy listening to these friends just talk about what they love, (or if it comes to *chicken noise* movies like King Arthur, what they hate.) These guys are the best kind of nerds, and the only thing I would change is that they bring Dan back. Every time I’m in the car, I turn on some Reel Spoilers, even if it’s to a movie I’ve never heard of before, because I know that the endless tangents will keep me entertained for hours. Thanks for helping me entertained through countless hot summer work days. You can expect a new Patrion member soon! Also, my name is Maddox Sweigart. I’ve always wanted to hear a celebrity say my name haha.

Enjoyable Podcast
Randomly came across this podcast while looking for new ones to binge and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoy the before-the-movie-talk banter, and the actual movie breakdown. It’s nice listening to a male-led podcast that isn’t sprinkled (or dumped on) with sexist remarks, and the humor is on-par. I find myself chuckling during multiple episodes. I’m assuming the older episodes are available via the patreon, but haven’t dug too much into it yet, as I still have newer episodes to catch up on.

Stick to movie discussion
The whole interaction about someone’s upcoming colonoscopy was cringe and unfunny. Whoever is making the “pagaaa” sound effect just stop trying so hard. This started as 3 stars but the sound effect guy is the worst part of this whole show.

Just stumbled on this podcast today and can’t stop listening. Got even more excited when I found one of my old HS friends was on it! Great to hear he’s still a huge comic book “expert.” Love the chemistry and the superhero ones. Ya got me hooked, hope the rest of them are just as good! Definitely worth a try, you will not be sorry!

I love movies and I love this podcast
I started listening to the show since Ford v Ferrari and it was good so I went back and listen to the old episodes on movies that I’ve watched. I really like the box office report episodes when they go off on a tangent but I love the ones when I know it’s a bad movie and they destroy it. I’m absolutely gonna join the patreon !!! Great show, subscribe now !!!

Listen to Reel Blend instead.
Been a listener the last 3-4 years. Loved the earlier stuff because it was just about the movies and I enjoyed the format. That was a five star show. Lately, I’ve noticed the wokeness seeping through the show. We get it you’re woke and you don’t like Trump 🥱 nobody cares. Joe is hands the worst part of the show. Go listen to Reel Blend instead. Those guys probably share the same socio/political leanings but they don’t let it bleed into their MOVIE podcast.

Great Movie Discussions
These guys do a great job discussing movies in a entertaining and insightful manner. They stray off topic in a fun and enjoyable manner at times. I have really enjoyed going back and listening to the Marvel movie discussions for the great way they expand on the movies backstories. Highly recommend!

100% Un-Spoiled!
I feel that the folks at Reel Spoilers are the group of friends I would have gone with to see the latest Marvel film. Then afterward at Eat-Rite Diner, over cheeseburgers and onion rings, we would unpack and analyze the merits and flaws of Danny Devito as the new Wolverine in Wes Anderson's X-Men reboot. This show is undeniably a great podcast! They are intelligent and fair in their analysis of the films they critique. I may not always agree with them, but their points are always valid and well reasoned. These are also people that do not unjustly hate-pile on films that have been targeted by trolls and haters. You should give them a chance, with a vast back catalog of episodes there will certainly be a film you would like to hear them deconstruct. Just be careful that you have seen the film they are discussing because just like the title says they will SPOIL the ending of the movie for you.

One of my favorites
This podcast is so entertaining! The hosts of this show are so great that it doesn’t matter what movie they are talking about, it will always be good. I’m so happy they have continued to produce episodes even with a lack of new movies. I will say I miss the box office episodes because they usually led to lots of random tangents, which I love.

Started off with their Fantasy Island episode and really enjoyed hearing the hosts bounce off on each other. I like the balance of observation and working through the plot. Look forward to checking out more. Subscribe and listen now!

You've Been Warned!
I dusted off my old iTunes account just so I could leave a review. This is one of the best movie podcasts around hands down. The chemistry and banter between them is so great that I would still listen every week even if they were talking about something other than movies. Highly recommend listening, and checking out the exstensive backlog of episodes.

Movie enjoyers talking about movies
I really enjoy this movie podcast...hands down....10 stars if I could give it honestly The guys and guests explore the inside of movies by going scene for scene from beginning to the end. They talk about what works and what doesn’t in funny different viewpoints. What I enjoy about the movie conversations, it is extremely detailed. They talk about everything from costume differences and actors who work or don’t, to how things are different from the book or comic book. The best are the comic book movies discussions and the podcast delve into personal views of characters... This is the best to listen while stuck at home during the real time pandemic. I am a fan and highly recommend this podcast.... Thank you for the large volume that I am binging !!!

A great diversion during scary times
I discovered Reel Spoilers relatively recently via The Clip Out. I am the sort of person who enjoys watching movies, then discussing them in detail. My husband is not interested in me reliving movies in detail with him. Consequently both he and I are glad I found this pod cast where I can listen to discussion of movies in detail. I feel like I am among a bunch of friends talking about movies. Sometimes I interject to try to get my point across, occasionally it works. I always laugh. I am going back and watching older movies that they have reviewed so I can listen to the corresponding podcast.

Reel review
These guys are amazing. They go through a whole movie with spoilers (which I enjoy because I don’t like when a podcast tiptoes around spoilers in movies) in mostly chronological order. They give different perspectives on many points. Different opinions on many movies. Like most people that find this podcast, I’ve also gone back as far as I can and listened to episodes for movies that I have seen, want to see, and am glad I didn’t see based on the reviews from these guys. I look forward to the episodes after watching a movie that has recently come out. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s working.

Sadly I have to Drop my Rating
After over 5 years of loving this podcast and the boys takes on film and their always interesting tangents (except wrestling) I have to drop my rating due to the subtle and now increasingly not so subtle leftist bias that’s started to dominate stretches of the show. I’m not a conservative , I’m a moderate independent but I really dislike political ideology inserted into my entertainment. The current woke movement that constantly has 100 pound women easily pounding 230 pound men because they are “ strong, powerful and independent “ is insulting. A 100 pound man could not do it. And if you want examples of strong independent women in film done right, try Anna Torv in Fringe or Sarah Shahi in Person of Interest. They played strong women who didn’t have to hate men or demean them. But now I digress... I’m tired of the hate Trump stuff. I don’t love him but I’m tired of the disrespect. Why not do the same for Pelosi and Sanders who are just as radical? Or how about just stay with the film? I still look forward to the podcast but tire of the extreme politics on either side.

Love the show!
Started listening to this just looking for another film review podcast, and I gotta say it’s quickly became my favorite. After I listened to 1 episode I had to listen to more. Went ahead and downloaded all the episodes of movies I’ve already seen. The knowledge of movies and tangents are hilarious, couldn’t recommend more.

Finally a great movie review team !
I went through many movie review podcasts and this one just surpasses them all ! Love how they go through the whole movie and discuss scene by scene. The reviews are fair and said respectfully with cool facts and movie banter mixed in. I find myself wanting to rewatch the movie after each episode because of how many things they shed light on ! Fun podcast with great points and insight on the movies they review, definitely recommend!

These guys are clowns
30 minutes into the Last Blood review and they haven’t started the review yet. They basically spent 30 minutes talking about politics. Why listen to a podcast about movies and get a bunch of politics. Then when they do talk about the movies they spend 15 minutes trashing the movie because they made Mexicans look like bad guys. They even tried to blame the Mexican cartel drug problem on Big Pharma....really. 5 out of the top 6 most dangerous cities in the world are in Mexico. TJ, a border city, is number 1. I agree not all Mexicans are bad, but let’s not pretend it’s Big Pharma that is causing the cartels to smuggle drugs. Stupidest podcast ever.

Amazing Movie Podcast
I’ve been listening to Reel Spoilers since 2017 and this podcast is unmatched. Such a great and genuine group of guys who have a passion for movies. Every episode is so fun much fun to experience. You feel like you’re in the room with some friends talking about the latest movies. Felt like it was finally time to leave a review after years of admiration. I highly highly recommend this podcast.

A Sincere Thank You
Hello all. I am proud to say this week I officially finished Grad school for becoming a Physician Assistant. I wanted to thank you because I couldn’t have done it without this podcast. From the three hour drives to study breaks to down time between classes you’ve been there. Your humor always made me laugh and your honest passion on film always made me appreciate something I loved even more. I saw a movie almost every weekend and even if I saw it alone I could know my “Movie Uncles” would have a discussion I felt like I could weigh in on. You all seem like pretty cool dudes who do this because you love it and that’s pretty inspiring for me at least. So thank you guys for the last two and a half years of box office, superheroes and Monkees references. I look forward to having you guys with me as I begin my next journey. Sarah, PA

Woke-ish: A Long Review
I’m going to give y’all 5 stars, so I’m going to speak freely. This USED to be my favorite podcast. I would see movies I normally bypass in order to enjoy the conversation along with the guys. However, as the woke-tastic reviewer (maybe) implied, Joe became too problematic for me. While listening to the “Us” review, I was frustrated with his take on the film making a statement on black-on-black crime because (1) paraphrasing of course, “that’s a big issue in his line of work”, while (2) ignoring the fact that there was a WHOLE ENTIRE white family murdered by their own set of doppelgängers. What does that mean then? Perhaps, violence is typically perpetrated by people that look like their victims? Yes, everyone is entitled to there own ideas, but that was just the cherry on the top of a long-history-of-eyebrow-raising-comments sundae. Look, do I think the guy is a racist? Nope. Do I appreciate his comic book references? Very much. But as a woman of color, I’ll pass. The rest of the gang is cool. I like that they bring on guests relevant to the movie of the week and are fairly woke-ish. Tom gave the best critical review of The Butler that I’ve heard. I secretly hoped him and Dan would do a spin off podcast called “Old-Timey References”, but alas... Anyways, I gave this 5-stars because it is genuinely top-quality if certain occasional problematic comments don’t bother you (which is not a critique, everyone has valid experiences which shape the way they receive and interpret information). Even though I’ve cooled on my weekly listening, others should definitely give it a chance.

Epic spoiler reviews
Listening to these guys’ discussions on movies, comic books and pop culture always brightens my mood. I don’t get to go out and watch movies as much as I used to, so in depth spoilers like these allow me to enjoy movies, and learn other entertaining facts along the way with their never ending tangents. Keep up the good work!

Great movie podcast! You’ve been warned!
This is one of the better movie podcasts out there today. I don't listen to the box office reports, but love their actual movie coverage. Sometimes they get super in-depth, sometimes not, but they always seem to have fun. And no matter how bad a movie might be, they always seem to at least try to find something positive about it. They don't just hate on everything because the Internet likes to troll. Sure, they can go off on random tangents at times, but more often than not those tangents add something to the discussion. And hey, they'll eventually get back on track. Definitely check this one out if you like to listen to people who love movies discuss the newest releases.
