Why are so many Protestants converting to Eastern Orthodoxy?

In this episode of Redeeming Truth, Pastor Jon Benzinger is joined by former Oriental Orthodox insider and Baptist pastor Samuel Farag to explore one of the fastest-growing conversations within evangelical Christianity.

Drawing from his personal journey and years of study, Samuel explains what Eastern Orthodoxy teaches about Scripture, tradition, salvation, Mary, icons, the church, and assurance—and why he ultimately concluded that these teachings must be evaluated by the authority of Scripture alone.

Whether you're personally exploring Orthodoxy, have loved ones asking questions, or simply want a better understanding of its beliefs, this episode offers a thoughtful, gracious, and biblically grounded conversation.
