Quejío ~ Deep Cry
"QUEJÍO is a deep, emotional, and often mournful cry or lament, known in Spanish Flamenco singing, that transcends words to express profound, soulful emotion.”
We are looking for creative expressions of the heartbreak, deep cry we feel in these times! Story, song, dance, poem, sculpture, painting, foto, music compositions.... Any art form is welcome!
To refine and make each performance piece more powerful, we will have an experienced director work with us.
Quejío ~ as a project, would aim to collaborate with and support local community actions and events through the creative arts.
