Eoin Morgan has had an incredible career, born into a four generation cricket family in Ireland, he’s gone on to be the person to bring the World Cup to England. So I found someone who has spent a lot of time working out who the real Eoin Morgan is. Melinda Farrell has spent the last five years following the England ODI team and she wrote a feature on Morgan that went up just before the World Cup. In this episode we discuss Morgan’s cold reputation, his journey from the poor parts of Dublin to affluent Dulwich College, his dual nationality, how much he didn’t like Kolkata, Baz McCullum and England winning the World Cup.
