A special edition Lectio for the Whitsun Ember Days. Falling on the Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday after Pentecost, the Whitsun Ember Days in 2023 fall on May 31, June 2, and June 3 -- although the Feast of the Visitation supersedes the Ember fast on 31st May.
