Moreover, its strange world raises bizarre questions that the movies have no desire to address. Does this kids' cartoon take place in an even more disturbing post-apocalyptic future than Wall-E or what? When there's an opportunity to upgrade children's animation with existential dread and grittily realistic CGI, you better believe we'll be there to reboot it. &nbsp;
