The only cinematic Logan film lovers have ever known retired on a majestic high note. Hugh Jackman's casting was perfect. The loss is still fresh. Bringing back Wolverine with a whole new actor in a whole new story feels like sacrilege. And making him the first big mutant movie in the MCU feels destined to fail.
