Former President of the N.A.A.C.P. Branch of New Bedford, MA. He was the First Plant Engineer at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. He served in the United States Air Force with the rank of Sgt. He was instrumental in getting a monument of the Great Frederick Douglass on the lawn of City Hall.
