to 11, the Apostle Paul shares his perspective on worldly accomplishments and his pursuit of knowing Christ. He says, "But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead."
to 11. May we reevaluate our priorities, recognizing that true fulfillment and worth are found in knowing Christ intimately. Let us consider everything else as loss compared to the joy and treasure of being in a relationship with Him. Amen!

In Philippians
In these verses, Paul expresses a radical shift in his priorities and values. He recognizes that all his worldly accomplishments and possessions pale in comparison to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus. He considers them as loss and even calls them garbage compared to the immeasurable value of being in a personal relationship with Christ.
Paul emphasizes that his righteousness does not come from obeying the law, but rather through faith in Jesus Christ. He desires to know Christ intimately, not only experiencing the power of His resurrection but also participating in His sufferings and becoming like Him in His death.
This passage reminds us to evaluate our own priorities and attachments. It challenges us to consider whether we are willing to let go of worldly gains and comforts for the sake of knowing Christ more deeply. It invites us to embrace a righteousness that is based on faith in Jesus rather than our own efforts.
So, my dear friends, let us embrace the message of Philippians
