Last week, the incomparable Serena Williams called it quits, ending a career spanning 20 years.  She redefined the game, bringing unprecedented power, crushing countless opponents.  She also was a role model and quickly became an icon, defying incredible social and economic challenges on her rise from Compton, CA, to world A-lister with access to any celebrity or world leader.
