Despite the disappointment of missing out on Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window, Real Madrid are moving forward with their ambitious new project, both on the field and on an institutional level.  

The jewel in Los Blancos' crown is the new Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, which is still undergoing a radical modern transformation while still maintaining its old charm.  

On the pitch, another renovation projection is well underway, with senior squad members such as Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane having departed over the summer and the likes of David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga coming in.  

And while they may have been unable to land Mbappe from a stubborn Paris Saint-Germain in August, the objective of signing the French superstar is still very much on course, with his contract expiring next summer.  

Yet Mbappe is not the only world class player that Real Madrid have their eye on, with Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Manchester United's Paul Pogba still very much on their radar.
