Leviticus is the 3rd book of the Bible. It is filled with all kinds of ritual instructions for the nation of

Israel and its sacrificial system. The overall idea is answering the question: How can a Holy God

dwell and commune with an unclean, sinful people? Moses reveals the Levitical way that God

opens for His people to fellowship with Him. Understanding this “way” will give the Christian a

better understanding of the “new and living way” God opens for us through the Person and

Work of Jesus Christ.
