A musing for an artist girlfriend that I used to live with in Barcelona at the time when she told me that she was a suffragette sacrificing love and life for the sake of her art I thought her to be a pompous spoilt brat but now after 4 months of lockdown in my mendicant cell scratching away I can understand her state of mind.
