A poem I wrote after reading that In the Great War the soldiers 16 to 18 were recruited in there millions most of whom were virgins .Lord Kitchener, Secretary of State for war, had written into their guidebooks , this piece of advice,"In this new experience you may find Temptations in wine and women you must resist both", meaning avoid drink and brothel's . with 6000 dying per day and some with the life expectancy of 17 hours catching a little pox would have been the least of their worries.
