Ranger Things season two has begun. We're back from our respective lake houses and are ready to report on everything that's not happening.

This week we discuss the contract situations of our D core, Matt Rempe's training with Kreider, Mika's not actually bad season, and we defend the Rangers' front office after a slightly back-handed off-season thus far.

We also play Name that Player and hash out the terms of yet another steak dinner bet between Dave and Brendan. (For the original bet, listen to our appearance on From the Blue Seats)

Terms of the bet

Winner of the bet gets a steak dinner.

At the end of the season, If Jonathan Quick's GAA is 3.12 or higher AND SV% is 8.99 or below, Brendan wins. If his GAA is 3.11 or lower AND SV% is 9.00 or better, Dave wins.

If there is a split in the stats, the tiebreaker is Quick's wins. Closest to the actual total wins the bet. Brendan chose 12 wins, Dave chose 14 wins.

If Quick's GAA is exactly 3.11 AND SV% is exactly 9.00 AND Quick has 13 wins, Carlo wins.
