In Singapore, our lives are somewhat aligned with each other. We go through roughly the same amount of years in school, from PSLE to 'O'/'N' Levels and then tertiary education. Of course to my Singaporean brothers and some sisters, we will all meet in National Service be it SPF, SAF or SCDF.
Because of this similar timeline, I believe that the majority of Singaporean Males would have the same thought process. So after NS, some guys plan to work, some plan to study and some want a gap year. But I assume eventually us guys, we would want to settle down but how do we do it? We already have 2 years less working experience and therefore a lot lesser CPF in comparison to our female partners. So here is a little insight into our possible thought process.
