<p>My 12 year old and I reflect on the homophobia and heterosexism series. The episodes have been a gift. We talk about the different stories we have heard but also the structures that are in place that make the stories of tension and struggle sound similar. Avery and I are grateful for our community and their willingness to share! &nbsp;  </p>

Dr. Kira Banks, is a psychologist, professor, coach, consultant, author, wife and mother. She has been helping individuals and groups understand themselves, others and systems of oppression for over 25 years. She works across corporations, Hollywood, Broadway, non-profits, K-12 schools, colleges, and community organizations. Dr. Banks is known for making complex and controversial topics accessible and intergroup interactions understandable.
