When Michele rescued Aladdin, he was completely broken. Little did she know, she would have to do everything in her power to save his life again. Recently, Aladdin was very sick and Michele and I crossed paths when he was diagnosed with cancer. Dogs are simply amazing. They have become part of our family and an integral part of our society--sometimes in horrifying ways. Many people turn their heads to look away at the bad, but dog rescuers do not. My rescue world is filled with amazing people that I am proud to know. It is also filled with a ton of drama.
