<p>Chicagoland Rescue Intervention Support Program (CRISP) is a program at Chicago Animal Care and Control that aims to keep animals with their owners by providing help in the form of vetting or landlord help etc. If that cannot happen, CRISP tries to get the animals to rescue. Dogs are simply amazing. They have become part of our family and an integral part of our society--sometimes in horrifying ways. Many people turn their heads to look away at the bad, but dog rescuers do not. My rescue world is filled with amazing people that I am proud to know. It is also filled with a ton of drama.
