Beth has had a variety of challenges in her life and dealt with depression for years. At one point in her life, she found herself on a behavioral unit because people thought she might even hurt herself. Finally, when she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease she knew she had to change her mindset from feeling a victim with one foot on the earth and one foot off the earth to both feet planted firmly on the earth with a new outlook.
