My next-door neighbor, Nita, passed away peacefully last night after a yearlong battle with cancer. Please take the lesson I’ve learned the hard way from her passing, and let this episode motivate you to say the things you’ve been meaning to say TODAY.

4. When We Lose Someone, What NOT to Send their Family

When there are so many things that seem to divide us, Quick Affix is about coming together instead. Every 5-15ish minute episode, I ask someone – a friend, colleague, family member, a neighbor: What's something you've been struggling with, and what could someone say or do to help? Then I’ll challenge you, the listener, to think of a person in your life who might be going through something similar: Can you do that for them? This is more than a podcast. It’s your weekly nudge to get and stay connected with those you love. Hosted by Sarah Weeger of Hey Weegs, a greeting card company.
