Much as a stereotype may have truth to it, it’s not the whole story. We dive into an article written by Camryn Mahnken, titled “A History of Queer Fashion: How the LGBTQ+ Community Uses Fashion as a Signal '' and talk about our own individual styles as we were stepping into our identities. Whether you agree with stereotypes or not, a takeaway we agreed with from the article is that, “fashion is a way of communicating, without even speaking.”
