Why do we feel the need to separate ourselves from each other? Why are black men and black women independent entities? Is that how it's supposed to be? Is that functional? Are there any other race of people who pushes this separation agenda within its own culture? Why is there a label like, "strong independent black woman"? Do we hear that from any other culture? Is this a badge of honor, or a trick?
