1. Be Prepared - have a plan for equipment, set up, interventions, assessment strategies
2. Be Creative - think how to accomplish goals with verbal and visual cues
3. Be Flexible - go with the flow and use environmental cues to drive interventions
4. Be Compliant - know your state practice act and follow CMS guidance (see resource links below)
