We share the story of a beloved Black and Indigenous family in a North Portland neighborhood who faced the trauma of eviction, displacement, and racial discrimination during the pandemic. The Kinney family rallied support from the community and showed their resilience against all odds: false reporting, death threats, and police brutality.
