Dr. Levy is a psychiatrist and Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at State of New York Downstate Medical College and a former director of Consultation Liason Psychiatry at Downstate Medical College and New York Medical College. He is the leading expert on the psychological effects of kidney disease, dialysis and renal transplants. He is also the founder of the Pyschonephrology Foundation. He is currently in private practive in Beverly Hills, California.
