With the recent decriminalization of natural psychedelics in the city of San Francisco it's a good time to revisit the amazing psychedelic history of San Fran's most famous neighborhood -the Haight Ashbury. We are reading the first few chapters of Charles Perry's powerful tome "The Haight Ashbury: A History". It was the most powerful explosion of culture in American history and its effects are still being felt today. Who knows what can happen in San Francisco today with this recent decision by the city, it could spark another renaissance that could affect the whole Psychedelic Renaissance, in the nation and around the world!
