Genesis 22: 1-14. Forgiveness is not free. When any wrong or infraction is committed against someone, the forgiveness of that wrong always comes at a cost. Justin submits to us that we are in debt to God and that the cost for God is immense in order for Him to forgive us of our sins. But, as we see in the story of Abraham and Isaac, God always provides a way to pay the cost. It cost God the death of His only Son, Jesus. Let us praise God who paid the debt we couldn't pay by offering up his most precious possession for us.
