. Jeff reminds us that it is only through the Holy Spirit that we can become the people who God has called us to be. We cannot produce the character of Jesus or uphold the standards to which Peter calls us to without the work of the Holy Spirit within us. In our own strength, we will fail, but in Christ's strength, we will have the power to deny ourselves and follow Him.
