This is “Project HEALarious” where we are unmasking my eccentric life as a highly sensitive Polynesian Autistic woman, and finding healing by integrating the knowledge and wisdom gained from the peculiar ways I have attempted to be a neurotypical human in a neurotypical world. My name is Kamerya, and being diagnosed later in life has given me plenty of room and time to live an uncomfortable, imperfectly scripted, often hilarious, and an almost Academy Award-winning masked life.
